Is anybody surprised?
For years we have tolerated, or celebrated or even subsidised these murderers as embodiments of our liberal, revolutionary conscience. We were a cooler, edgier people because these people existed.
Last year I spent hours arguing with those of my compatriots who sympathised with or even advocated the November 09 violence.
Will they now turn themselves in as accomplices? Their words are immortal. I hope their shame will be too.
Even now people make up excuses. They just don't get it.
